easuring for an Inside Mount

Measure the inside of the window casing at the bottom, middle and top. Take the smallest inside width in 1/8th of an inch increments. Measure for length in the same manner, left side, right side and the middle, taking the smallest measurement for the length in 1/8th of an inch increment.

easuring a Window for an Outside Mount

Measure from the outside edges of the window casing for width and length. Take measurements for the following: Top of the window casing to the ceiling Bottom of the window casing to the floor Left side of window casing to the left corner of the wall Right side of window casing to the right corner of the wall
